What is the workload and commitment period like?

The workload is project-based. It also varies, depending on which cluster you're in! Check out our Subcomm IG post for more information on what you can expect! :) Feel free to drop us a DM on Instagram if you would like to learn more about a certain committee!
I do not have a particular skill-set or experience, can I still join the Sub-Committee?

Yes, you can! We welcome all students of SoH to join us, regardless of experience! Your interest and commitment is of higher importance to us and what we will prioritise more! :)
How long is the commitment period?

The commitment period for Sub-Committee members is ONE YEAR! :)

Do I need to go through an election or an interview to be a Sub-Comm member?

You do not need to go through an election! It will likely be an interview to get to know you better! Our Directors will get in touch with all interested applicants after the Sub-Comm registration closes. P.S: Our Directors are really friendly, we don't bite!
Is the Sports & Operations Sub-Comm for me?

You are proactive, punctual, committed and a team player! You are strong, efficient and responsible! What you can expect from Sports: - Help set up booths for Inter-School Games - Get required materials for our events - Help with research for our events - Packing and distribution of goodie bags for our events What you can expect from Logistics: - Maintenance of our storeroom - Monthly accountability of store - Monthly disposal of items in store - Carrying or moving of items during our events If you do not have the above qualities, fret not! We are more than happy to have you join our Sub-Committee nonetheless! :)
Is the Student Engagement Sub-Comm for me?

You have an interest in SoH events and programmes! You are committed, creative, proactive, punctual and a team player! You have the heart to serve the school community! If you do not have the above qualities, fret not! We are more than happy to have you join our Sub-Committee nonetheless! :)
Is the Publicity Sub-Comm for me?

You have an interest in elevating SoH Club's online presence! You are efficient, open-minded, proactive, self-motivated and willing to learn! You are an active social media consumer, aware of the latest trends and have a passion for content creation! You are proficient in photography, videography and/or design! *All levels of experience & expertise are welcomed! If you do not have the above qualities, fret not! We are more than happy to have you join our Sub-Committee nonetheless! :)
Is the Community Engagement Sub-Comm for me?

You have an interest in planning and overseeing community events! You are passionate about the community, committed and have good interpersonal skills! You have an interest in liaising with external organisations! You have experience in project management! *If you do not have prior experience, it's perfectly fine too! If you do not have the above qualities, fret not! We are more than happy to have you join our Sub-Committee nonetheless! :)
